A.If you have employees, you are liable to pay ESI for them beside you have some notable benefits from ESI. The benefits are as follows-
If you registered under ESI, you would be full relief from any medical care of the employees and their family.
If you registered under ESI, you do not require to give any compensation as per “Compensation Act” for your employees.
If you registered under ESI, you do not require to give maternity benefit for your employees.
A. Applicability of ESI Registration is as follows-
Any proprietorship firm, partnership firm, private sector or public sector having 10 or more employees requires ESI registration and need to file ESI return for their employees.
Any employer having less than 10 employees desire to give ESI coverage for their employees may take voluntary ESI registration.
